Our mission is to change how the world sees hospice—removing fear, ending stigma, and showing the comfort, dignity, and love it can bring. Through real stories, practical tips, and compassionate insight, our goal is to help families navigate this journey with knowledge and support. Our channel is a safe space for learning, sharing, and finding hope in life’s most difficult moments. No one should walk this path alone—and with the Hospice Education Network, you don’t have to.
About Brooks—
I have been a hospice nurse for over a decade, beginning my journey in 2014 with our local non-profit hospice. I quickly moved through several roles, eventually finding my calling in leadership and education—where my hospice heart truly belongs.
Today, I work as a Hospice Clinical Consultant, helping hospice leaders train and empower their teams to provide compassionate, skilled care at the bedside.
Now, through the Hospice Education Network, we are taking that mission directly to our communities. Our goal is to help people understand what hospice truly is—removing the stigma around the word “hospice” and easing the fear that so often surrounds the end of life.
In our culture, conversations about death are too often avoided until they are forced upon us. We believe it’s time to change that—by talking about hospice sooner, louder, and more often.
You can be part of this change. Visit our YouTube channel, share our message, and help us make a difference—together.
About Zac—
I began my career as a physical therapy assistant, working closely with patients and their families for over a decade to help them regain strength, independence, and hope. Those years taught me the power of compassion, the importance of advocacy, and the profound impact that even small acts of care can have on someone’s life.
Over time, my path led me into Human Resources — a role that still allows me to focus on people, though in a new way. Now, instead of helping individuals heal physically, I work to support and advocate for employees, fostering a workplace where they can grow, feel valued, and succeed.
Whether at the bedside or in the workplace, my purpose has always been the same: to serve, to listen, and to keep learning so I can better support those around me. Working with the Hospice Education Network allows me to bring these values forward by helping educate others about what hospice truly is and why it matters, so that more people can make informed and compassionate choices at life’s most important moments.

A Letter to Our Wonderful Viewers
Hello Friend,
Sometimes, all it takes is a simple smile to brighten someone’s day—maybe even change it. But what exactly is a smile? At its core, a smile is “a facial expression characterized by turning up the corners of the mouth, often showing happiness, friendliness, or amusement.”
Yet, a smile is so much more than just an expression. It’s a universal language of kindness that crosses every barrier, reminding us that despite our differences, we are all part of one human family.
Did you know that smiling actually has powerful emotional effects? When you smile, your brain releases feel-good chemicals like dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins, which can reduce stress and boost your mood—even if you’re forcing it a little at first! Smiles are contagious, spreading warmth and comfort to those around you.
The benefits of smiling go beyond just you and me. It can strengthen relationships, improve social interactions, and even promote better health by lowering blood pressure and strengthening your immune system. In short, kindness is magic—and your smile is the wand.
So, today, if you see someone who looks like they could use a little light, offer them your smile. You never know what they’re going through. A smile might be the spark that reminds them they’re not alone.
Thank you for being part of this community where kindness and compassion thrive. Together, let’s keep sharing smiles and spreading hope—because every smile matters.
With warmth and gratitude,
The Stapler-Clemons Family
